EFEKTIVITAS KEPEMIMPINAN BERBASIS KELUARGA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BISNIS: PENDEKATAN SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

Abstrak

Family-based leadership plays a crucial role in sustaining the growth and continuity of family businesses. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of family-based leadership on business growth through a systematic literature review approach. This This study analyzed 25 peer reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2025 from reputable international and national journals focusing on family business leadership and organizational performance. The research method follows systematic literature review procedures including identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and synthesis of relevant studies. The synthesis of the reviewed studies indicates three dominant mechanisms through which family-based leadership contributes to business growth: (1) strengthening organizational commitment and socioemotional wealth, (2) fostering long-term strategic orientation, and (3) enabling intergenerational knowledge transfer. The review also reveals that governance structures and professional management practices moderate the effectiveness of family leadership in achieving sustainable business growth. This study contributes to the family business literature by providing a comprehensive synthesis of recent empirical findings regarding leadership effectiveness in family-owned firms.
