Peer Review Process

Scientific Journal of Information System (SJIS) applies a scholarly peer-review process to evaluate submitted manuscripts.

Initial Editorial Screening

The editorial team checks each manuscript for relevance to the journal's scope, compliance with submission guidelines, research originality, and basic methodological and ethical requirements.

Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned for revision or rejected before external review.

Peer Review

Manuscripts passing initial screening are ordinarily evaluated by at least two qualified reviewers with relevant expertise.

The journal applies a blind peer-review procedure. Reviewer and author identities are handled according to the journal's confirmed review model.

Review Criteria

Editorial Decisions

After considering reviewer reports, the editor may decide to accept the manuscript, request minor revisions, request major revisions, or reject the manuscript.

The final publication decision rests with the responsible editor.

Revisions and Reassessment

Authors must address reviewer comments and provide revised manuscripts within the period communicated by the editorial team.

Revised manuscripts may be returned to reviewers when further evaluation is necessary.

Confidentiality and Conflicts of Interest

Editors and reviewers must maintain manuscript confidentiality and disclose relevant conflicts of interest.

Review Timeline

The journal aims to complete peer review within approximately four weeks, depending on reviewer availability, manuscript complexity, and the extent of required revisions.
